OUR STORY
Hi, I’m Milan, co-founder of Break Into Tech.
When I moved to the UK in 2007 as an immigrant who didn’t speak a word of English, the odds were stacked against me. I was placed in the lowest set at school, and expectations for my future were low. But I refused to let those circumstances define me. Through grit and determination, I was determined to create a better life.
In 2019, I got my first big break into tech as an intern at Google—becoming the first-ever student from Coventry University
to achieve this milestone. (Yes, there’s even a news article about it!) That experience taught me a valuable lesson: the tech industry is where the biggest opportunities lie.
By 2020, I had graduated from university and started working in a non-tech sales role, earning just $30K a year. It was honest work, but I knew I was capable of so much more. Determined to level up, I took a leap of faith and broke into tech sales.
In 2021, my life changed completely. I landed my first tech sales role, tripled my income, and surpassed $100K in earnings. Today, I’m proud to work at one of the world’s leading AI companies, earning a base salary of $100K with the potential to make multiple six figures in commissions.

Lara spent over 8 years working as a paralegal and later as a qualified lawyer. Despite her dedication, the long hours and minimal pay left her feeling unfulfilled and stuck. She realized the traditional career path wasn’t working for her and decided to pivot into tech sales.
That decision transformed her life. Not only did her income grow significantly, but she also found a career that aligned with her goals, values, and ideal lifestyle.
